The Supreme Court of Nevada is the state’s highest court and its primary responsibility is to review and rule on appeals from District Court cases. Polices and Rules that the District Court has adopted and that have been ordered by the Supreme Court of Nevada are listed below. Please review and comply. When filing cases with the Ninth Judicial District Court, please make sure you follow the rules in addition to any Nevada State Law requirements.

The District Court Clerks do not communicate or accept correspondence by email.  To reduce exposure to COVID 19 the District Court Clerk’s office has accepted documents submitted for filing to DCCLERK@DOUGLAS.NV.GOV .

This policy shall remain in effect until further notice.
